Preparation checklist
- Identify refrigerant, charge, equipment and credible leak sources.
- Separate machinery-room, cold-store and occupied-space monitoring duties.
- Record temperature, humidity, ventilation, room geometry and access restrictions.
- Clarify early leak warning, personnel exposure and emergency-response objectives.
- Identify refrigeration control, local alarms, emergency ventilation and shutdown interfaces.
- Define testing access, calibration responsibilities, records and change management.
