Where it fits

Fixed toxic-gas applications where flexible sensor selection, maintainability and active response verification are priorities.

Confirm before specifying

Confirm the gas, range, AutoTest availability, enclosure, outputs and installation conditions. AutoTest depends on the monitored gas and configuration and does not remove manufacturer or site calibration, inspection and testing requirements.

AutoTest, clearly explained

Automatic daily sensor-response verification with real test gas.

For a supported sensor and gas configuration, optional AutoTest generates a test gas and checks the sensor response. This active check goes beyond an electronic diagnostic and helps teams see whether the configured sensing function responds.

  1. 01 · GenerateThe configured system produces test gas for a supported sensor.
  2. 02 · VerifyThe detector checks sensor response during the automatic daily cycle.
  3. 03 · ActOperators review status and follow the approved procedure if verification fails.

AutoTest availability depends on the gas and sensor configuration. It does not create a universal exemption from calibration, inspection, manual functional checks or site testing. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and the approved site procedure.
